Eurofoil® is Danfoil’s patented atomization technology, in which the spray liquid is mixed with air inside the atomizer itself. The airflow breaks the liquid into droplets while simultaneously giving them the energy and velocity needed to hit the crop more precisely—even when the droplets are small.

• Droplet size is primarily controlled by air pressure—not by water volume.
• Low water volume (typically 30–50 l/ha) can provide high capacity and fewer stops.
• Better penetration in dense crops because the air creates movement/turbulence within the plant.
• Controlled drift because the droplets gain extra kinetic energy/speed.

How the technology works

In a conventional nozzle, droplets are formed primarily by fluid pressure and nozzle geometry. With Eurofoil®, liquid and air are mixed, and it is the airflow that both atomizes and “carries” the droplets toward the target. This allows for a combination of fine droplets and controllability, because the droplets are energized.
